VIVID CALLS ON SYDNEY PUBS

The annual Vivid spectacular is returning to Sydney in August, and organisers are calling on CBD businesses to get involved in the 2021 Local Business Program.

Vivid Sydney celebrates creativity, innovation and technology. From 6-28 August it will transform the CBD into “a playground of the unexpected” highlighted by the famous light shows.

Businesses – particularly hotels and restaurants around festival locations, including Circular Quay, The Rocks, Barangaroo, Darling Harbour and the CBD – are encouraged to create their own exciting experiences as part of Vivid Sydney, adding to the collective attraction for visitors.

Participating venues can access vibrant Vivid Sydney shopfront assets, such as transparent LED screens, window decals and posters.

Time is running out to register interest – at vividsydney.com/localbusiness.

“Sydney is open for business and truly comes alive during Vivid Sydney each year,” says Stuart Ayres – Minister for Jobs, Investment, Tourism and Western Sydney.

“The festival has a long and proud history of creating economic and social benefit for the state of NSW and we call upon local businesses, including our much-loved pub owners, to get involved in the Vivid Sydney Local Business Program to entice customers to shop, dine and visit during Vivid Sydney this August.”
