Last year PubTIC ran a competition to give away an Optoma high-definition projector, and the Meeniyan Hotel is glad we did.
The Meeniyan is located in country Victoria, in the South Gippsland region.
Owned and operated by the Willcocks family, publican Greg Willcocks took the time to tell us in 50 words or less about the most successful promotion they had run.
All entries were submitted to Optoma, and the company determined the eventual winner.
“Anyone who has visited country Victoria knows the audience wants to see the AFL, and as a venue this is a huge drawcard,” Willcocks told PubTIC.
“It has been interesting to observe the locals’ reaction … in a town of just 600 people, something like this has the whole town talking.
“We’re looking forward to being a big part of the finals season which is coming up in the coming weeks.”
