Victoria Bitter is charging a glass and into the hearts of Aussie battlers, giving away free beers at 287 venues to “everyone ready to get on with the job of making Australia a better place”.
Draught stalwart around the country, VB will be served up free of charge at participating venues on Sunday, 26 May, from 2-4pm.
One of CUB’s flagships, now under the broader umbrella of global giant AB InBev since that company’s acquisition of SAB Miller, VB has typically been marketed as the working man’s beer.
This is a demographic the big brewer suggests may be feeling somewhat ‘stalled’ after the hype, lead-up and eventual result of the Federal Election.
In the pursuit of a greater Australia, VB says “It’s our shout”.
“There’s been a lot of talk over the last few months.
“While we don’t know what’s coming next, we do know this.”
Offering a free glass of beer on Sunday to Australia’s every man, VB says it’s a new week and time to get back to doing what we do best: working hard.
“That’s the only way we are going to push this country forward,” suggests the big green beer.
On Sunday pubs around the country will serve up a (limit of one) glass – on VB.
