GAMING EXPO SHINES, CLOSES TOMORROW

The 2019 Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE) closes tomorrow, on track for another year of record attendance and more unique insights for industry.

Taking place at ICC Sydney (International Convention Centre) in Darling Harbour from 13 – 15 August, organisers the GTA (Gaming Technologies Association) report overall registration and first-day attendance were both up three per cent on 2018.

The increasingly popular seminar programs have been in high demand, with all sessions full and some standing room only.

The final day will see PubTIC’s own seminar on The Renovation Cycle in today’s competitive pub landscape, featuring specialist guests Capital Claims, discussing financial aspects and optimisation, and Bergstrom Architects, bringing experience in contracts and design.

Day one concluded with a special presentation and cocktail party for exhibitors, celebrating the 15 companies that have exhibited at all 30 instalments of the AGE, from Darling Harbour to Glebe Island and back again.

“We would like to again thank these exhibitors for their past and ongoing support,” offered the Association.

Every day also sees the customary trip for two people to Las Vegas given away to a random visitor.

The 30th anniversary AGE all-timers are:

Allpride Signs & Marketing, Aristocrat Technologies Australia, Aruze Gaming, Brintons Carpets, BSG Australia, Global Gaming Industries, IGT, Jensen Data Systems, Paynter Dixon, Plantscaping Solutions, Scientific Games, SICO South Pacific, Sprintquip, Technoprom and VFJ Currency Equipment.

The AGE is free for hospitality industry professionals. Registration can be done online HERE or at the door. The final day closes at 3pm.
