5,000 FREE BEERS FOR PUB-GOERS

Melbourne’s own Stomping Ground Brewing Co is celebrating the return of the Garden State’s hospitality on 1 June by shouting 5,000 patrons their first beer back at the pub.

Dubbed the Stomping Ground 5K, the initiative will see 50 venues offer customers their first beer for free.

Thirsty punters simply sign up HERE and will be contacted before the start of June with information on how to claim their beer.

Hotels already confirmed as participants include Union House, Mt Erica Hotel, and the Marquis of Lorne.

“It’s been a really challenging time for all pubs and bars throughout Australia, and we couldn’t be more excited to be opening our doors again on Monday 1 June,” offers Marquis of Lorne owner, Will Benjamin.

“When we heard that Stomping Ground was keen to work with us to shout 5,000 Melburnians their first beer, we jumped on board to be part of it, to thank all our loyal customers who have supported us over the last weeks.

“That first beer on Monday is going to be one to remember!”

Stomping Ground co-founder Guy Greenstone says they are amongst all Victorians eager to take that first post-lockdown sip.

“Melbourne’s hospitality industry is an integral part of what makes our city one of the best places to live in the world. We know how much the industry is struggling right now, but also how much Melburnians are looking forward to that very first beer back at the pub.”

Venues looking to participate should EMAIL the Stomping Ground team.
