Aiming to work with pubs ready to transition to digital systems, Wirely is now offering its purpose-built Checklist and Shift Report modules at no charge.
Wirely produces software specifically for hospitality, providing three user levels, with escalating functionality.
It is offering up two of the modules in the Wirely Basics package, for the benefit of venues – many reopening after difficult closure periods.
The ‘Checklist’ module is a powerful digital version of the trusty checklist. It allows users to create and categorise any kind of ‘to-do’ list, for daily, weekly or one-off scheduled tasks, to ensure everything is done properly.
Examples might be ‘Opening the venue each day’, or ‘COVID safety checks’.
Tasks are checked off when the task is completed, and it’s recorded who marked it complete and when, with capacity for additional notes on the result. Managers can move tasks around, and look back on previous lists for audits.
Also part of the starter package is the ‘Shift Report’ module, which lets managers customise shift categories and generate specific reports, with capacity for comments, including by who and when.
These modules are part of Basics, which is followed by ‘Connect’ – incorporating Wirely’s full Digital Takings Sheet (DTS) offering (as reported in PubTIC) – and Enterprise, with all of Connect plus further reporting functionality.
Additional features through modules include Tills, Gaming, Tab & Keno, Safe, Petty Cash and Functions.
The company says Checklist and Shift Report were created following direct feedback from clients.
“Operators were asking for a better way to manage, track and record daily tasks, so we developed new modules to meet their needs,” explained Simon Etchells, CEO of Wirely.
The new modules are being offered at no charge for a limited time, as part of Wirely’s plans to further engage with and help venues going into the post-pandemic shutdown summer trade.
“The hospitality industry, particularly in Victoria and NSW, has had an incredibly tough two years, so we’re pleased to be offering a selection of these new tools to venues right across the country.”
