DOVE & OLIVE INTRODUCES SAUCY NEW BEER TO MARKET

The passion for crafted beers has bred another entrant to a tasty market, with Sauce Brewing Co launching last Friday in the Good Beer Company’s Dove & Olive.

Sauce is the inspiration of former corporate professional Mike Clarke, who has enthusiastically home-brewed for years before ditching the office to launch the brand.

sauce-brewing-launch_2_crpsq_lrPassionate about quality control and ‘flawless’ brews Clarke has launched in partnership with the award-winning Australian Brewery in Rouse Hill, citing kinship through their focus on consumer education and methodology under the long-standing tutelage of renowned brewer Neal Cameron.

The launch saw two core beers – a fruity, hoppy pale ale and a juicy, resinous double-IPA – back up the highly anticipated winner of a social media poll popular vote, the Saucy Saison.

Its makers describe this classic old-style French/Belgian farmhouse ale as the “perfect summer beer” due to its easy-drinking ways and six per cent ABV.

“With summer upon us we wanted a seasonal that wasn’t just another IPA, was a little bit different, and wasn’t too heavy.

“The Saison has turned out beautifully and it complements our core range quite well.”

Sauce will ‘gypsy’ brew with Australian Brewery until its custom-built brewery in Marrickville, currently under construction, is completed around mid-2017.
