BOUNCE-BACK EMBRACED THROUGH HOSPO INITIATIVES

Lewis Land Group is amongst those feeding a recovery in hospitality, doubling the NSW Government’s Dine & Discover vouchers at Sydney institutions The Fiddler and Camden Valley Inn.

The group is offering twice the face value of the Dine & Discover vouchers between Mondays and Thursdays, giving customers $50 to redeem on meals.

Rouse Hill’s The Fiddler is promoting its renowned Guinness Pie and Pork Knuckle, and its dedicated pizzeria creating authentic Italian woodfired pizzas.

The initiative is one of many being served up by proactive hospitality groups and comes as Lewis looks to a positive recovery from the pandemic – atop the devastation in parts of the state caused by recent floods, including around the regions of Rouse Hill and Camden Park.

“We’re deciding to give back to the community and let our locals enjoy an evening out with a great meal at a lower price,” explains The Fiddler general manager, Tara Bonser.

Beyond doubling the $25 vouchers at the two large-format venues, Bonser reveals the group has an armoury of ideas to help patrons find reasons to return. These include Teachers’ Happy Hour on Friday afternoons, live music on Friday nights, buy-one-get-one-free seniors meals Monday to Friday, and more.

In accordance with the further easing of COVID restrictions across NSW, Bonser says they are back to booking DJs for the weekend in anticipation of dancefloor action, with a schedule of happenings in the works.

“And as always, we’re still doing discounted meals for our sporting club members, and ANZAC Day is going to be filled with events and activities.”
