AUSTRALASIAN GAMING EXPO FILLING FAST FOR BUMPER YEAR

The Australasian Gaming Expo is still five months away, but is shaping up to be the biggest yet as exhibitor space and bookings near capacity.

This year’s Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE) will take place Tuesday, 9 August, through to Thursday, 11 August, for the last time at Sydney Exhibition Centre @ Glebe Island.

Exhibition space was increased for AGE 2016, yet 91 per cent of the roughly 8,500 square metres of floorspace has been allocated, with 143 exhibitors confirmed so far.

Event organisers, the Gaming Technologies Association (GTA), confirmed to PubTIC that exhibitor bookings “are ahead of where they were last year”.

There will again be complimentary ferries to Glebe Island from Darling Harbour, and complimentary buses leaving from Central. The Island will have a range of facilities to keep guests refreshed, including cafés and a lounge area.

The new Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre is due for completion last this year and 2017 will see the AGE return to its former home, in the new heart of Darling Harbour.

Further information on the 2016 event can be found at www.austgamingexpo.com, or the venue at www.sydneyexhibitioncentre.com.au.

The latest AGE smartphone app provides advanced user information. It can be downloaded free of charge from the event website, from the Apple store or Google play.

As always, entry is free for hospitality and gaming industry professionals.

Guests can register at www.austgamingexpo.com or call the Gaming Expo Help line on 02 9211 7430.
