WARREN VIEW DISCREETLY UNVEILS TEDDY’S

Teddy’s Bar has quietly opened at the Warren View Hotel, promising an exclusive and picturesque experience reminiscent of the prohibition era, with a “touch of mystery”.

Located discretely above the Hotel, the new Bar is a nod to the days of the speakeasy, offering a carefully curated environment that transports patrons to a time when craftsmanship and style were central to the art of mixology.

It is found behind an understated entrance, marked by subtle signage, inviting guests to embark on a journey away from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Inside is a space blending exposed brick walls sporting eclectic artwork, supporting original rafters, above leather banquettes and luxurious velvet furniture accents. There are cozy nooks by the fireplace, a choice of ample high bars and tables, and “rockstar” bathrooms adorned with black tiles and brass finishes.

Another key secret element of Teddy’s Bar is its hidden kitchen, which when not serving a selection of tapas and shared plates crafted to complement the carefully curated cocktail offerings, can be concealed behind a sliding wall art painting.

“The sliding wall art is a key feature that not only allows full natural light to filter through during the day but also transforms the space at night, allowing the kitchen to discreetly close by sliding the artwork across,” explains Katia, design manager at Warrane, which orchestrated the work.

Warren View Hotel is owned by Theo and Tanya Damianakis, and Teddy’s is the continuation of a collaboration and strong relationship between them and builder Warrane, which boasts a history designing, developing and asset managing commercial properties.

Tanya Damianakis says they worked together toward an addition to the pub that exudes a warm, welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere.

“This partnership has been instrumental in creating a space that not only fulfills our vision but exceeds it, offering our patrons an unforgettable experience.”
