REDCAPE TO REOPEN VENUES

ASX-listed hotel operator Redcape has released announcement it will be reopening most of its 32 venues next week, with CEO Dan Brady discussing the need for special measures and plans to ensure the customer experience.

In the three-minute video release Brady explains how the group has aimed to minimise its cash burn, improve team connections, and maintain high levels of engagement with its patron base.

Considerable work has been done to properties during the shutdown, to better enable what will eventually emerge as the mandated requirements for public venues.

Brady cites using the forced shutdown as an opportunity to “reset and rebuild” and accelerate innovative projects in the works, and plans to reopen most of the pubs on 1 June

The listed entity (ASX: RDC) reported strong results in its half-yearly report in February, and notes the benefits of owning the freehold at 30 of the properties.
