REAL ESTATE CONFERENCE LAUDS AUSTRALIA HOTELS

In the context of a watershed year in commercial real estate, the White Group has held its inaugural Connect conference and awards, and praised the “unprecedented” results seen by Ray White Hotels Australia.

The sold-out Connect brought together seven group conferences across four divisions for the Group’s “most ambitious event” ever, showcasing guest speakers and accreditations to 2000 delegates from Australia, China, New Zealand, America and Indonesia.

Having achieved a succession of big-ticket transactions already this year, Ray White Hotels Australia was judged the top marketer in the commercial group and director Asia-Pacific Andrew Jolliffe awarded both Number 1 Agent Internationally and the best-of-the-best award, the Director’s Cup.

Ray White Director and CEO Dan White cited a “number of impressive hotel sales” including 16 in a 10 week period in 2015.

“The accomplishments of Andrew and the Ray White Hotels Australia team this year have been fantastic, with numerous noteworthy sales throughout the Asia Pacific Region” Mr White said.

“The volume of sales in such a concentrated time is unprecedented.”

Jolliffe said he was “humbled” by the acknowledgement, and praised the efforts of the Hotels team.

“It’s been a very rewarding 12 months for all members of the team and we have embraced the opportunity both the market and our valued clients have afforded us.

“The talent pool here is scarily good, and the collective drive to succeed most clear. It’s an intoxicating environment.”

The Connect conference incorporated the Group’s companies of Ray White real estate, mortgage broker Loan Market, home transfer service Concierge, and property managers Living Here.

Guest speakers included media mogul Lachlan Murdoch, Domino’s CEO Don Meij, cricket legend Adam Gilchrist, St.George senior economist Hans Kunnen, and paraplegic triathlete John Maclean.
