A brawl on the streets of Darling Harbour has left a man in a coma.
Emilio Bonanni was walking down Eastern Promenade at Cockle Bay Wharf with friends when a verbal altercation began with three other men, which escalated into a brawl between the two groups.
According to witnesses a lot of punches were thrown, with Bonanni hit several times before falling to the ground and fracturing his skull.
The three men fled from the area and were seen leaving in a grey or blue sedan.
Friends of Boninni provided first aid and called emergency services. He was taken to St Vincent’s hospital where he has been placed in an induced coma and remains in a critical condition.
Sydney City Local Area Command reports detectives are conducting investigations, and would like to speak with three men.
