The NSW branch of the Australian Hotels Association has announced launch of Hospitality Legal P/L, leveraging its strengths in the industry to offer nationwide services to hospitality employers.
The AHA NSW has traditionally provided specialised legal advice and services relating to hospitality, predominantly to State members.
Hospitality Legal (HL) will be headed up by AHA National and NSW Director of Legal and Industrial Affairs, Phillip Ryan, and look to advise and represent hospitality employers anywhere in Australia on a range of industrial and employment matters.
HL will complement services already provided to AHA NSW members through membership, and forms part of the Association’s strategy to retain its mantle as the leading association for the industry.
“Hospitality Legal has been developed by the industry for the industry, to provide legal services to hospitality employers,” says AHA NSW and National President Scott Leach.
“From the outset, Hospitality Legal will focus on industrial relations and employment law, an area which is attracting immense political and regulatory interest at the moment.
“This is also an area in which the AHA NSW’s legal team is rightly regarded by the industry and regulatory bodies alike as a leader.”
