FOOD & HOSPITALITY WEEK THIS MONTH

Food & Hospitality Week returns to Sydney’s ICC this month, ushering in Australia’s “epicentre of culinary innovation” from Monday 25 to Wednesday 27 May.

Over 15k hospitality professionals from pubs, clubs, bars, restaurants, cafes, fast food outlets and everywhere that serves food are anticipated to attend the three days of product discovery, live competitions, education and networking at FHW 2026.

Beyond hundreds of supplier stands, there will be four leading industry trade shows: Australia’s longest-running foodservice trade event, the Restaurant & Foodservice Show; the Pizza, Pasta & Italian Food Show; the Café & Coffee Show; and RESTECH – showcasing cutting-edge solutions shaping the future of foodservice and hospitality.

Five live competitions will be fought over the three days, including Professional Chef of the Year, seeing top chefs vie for $6k in prizes; Australia’s Best Burger; Australian Emerging Pâtissier of the Year; and Battle of the Butchers.

Eighty free education sessions are set to take place across six stages, covering business strategy, operations, pizza, chef demonstrations and hospitality technology.

All content is included in the FHW pass*.

And for those looking to celebrate, the Industry Big Night Out – laying claim to being Sydney’s biggest hospitality party of the year, to be headlined by The Potbelleez – will take place on the Monday night, in a separate ticketed, co-located event.

“We’re breaking down the silos of the food and beverage world to get chefs, operators, and manufacturers in the same room,” says Jono Whyman, FHW event director.

“By mixing world-class equipment and product showcases with elite conferences and social events, we’re providing the ultimate platform for the industry to network, evolve, and celebrate together.”

Debuting in 2025, the event is hosted by National Media, following its acquisition in 2024 of Australia’s longest-running foodservice and catering industry trade event, Foodservice Australia, which dates back to 1967.

Tickets to FHW are $49 – available to trade visitors only.
