COOPERS SHOUT BEERS TO ‘ROLL ON IN’ TO PUBS

Australian beer doyen Coopers Brewery recently announced what it says will be the first of its initiatives to help pubs on the road to recovery, by shouting consumers 15,000 draught beers with the “Roll On In, Pub’s Open” campaign.

The Australian family-owned brewery is putting more than 15,000 beers on its tab to support Australian pubs in their recovery from the COVID-19 lockdown.

This means rounds of Pale Ale at 335 metropolitan and country venues over the coming weeks.

Coopers says “we’ve gone through this together” and as many restrictions are lifted around the country it hopes we can emerge from it together and the tabs encourage more people to drop into their local for a social.

“We want to encourage communities to get out and support their local pub,” says Coopers MD, Dr Tim Cooper.

“Pubs have been doing it extremely tough over these past months. These are often family run small businesses employing dedicated and hardworking local people.

“In the face of such adversity and uncertainty, our pubs have held on admirably.

“Now as the social restrictions are eased across the states and territories, we can all play a part in the recovery and enjoy a beer with friends in the process.”

The Coopers national sales representatives will work directly with selected venues in all regions to schedule the Coopers tabs, the initiative coinciding with advertising and social media campaigns to raise awareness.
