A prime Central Coast venue has hit the market, offering a large-format hotel with amazing views and a colourful history.
The Coast is located on Iguana Wharf at Gosford, surrounded by water and adjacent to the Pacific Highway and 50,000 passing cars per day.
The striking sail-topped hotel restaurant was formerly known as Iguana Joe’s – where political power couple John Della Bosca and his wife Belinda Neal reportedly threatened and abused staff back in 2008, resulting in disciplinary action against both.
The sale is of a new 20-year lease through Crown Lands, for the 1,600 mwaterfront venue and large carpark.
It is being marketed by agency Cushman & Wakefield (C&W), which is finding its way into the booming Australian hotel market.
“This hotel is an amazing opportunity,” C&W’s Rob Parrott told PubTIC.
“Under the right management, with the right vision, it will not only be the best venue in Gosford, but the premier food & beverage venue for the entire Central Coast.”
The site will go to auction on 8 July Radisson Blu, Pitt St, Sydney from 10:30 am.
