The Coogee Bay Hotel relaunched its wedding offerings in time for Spring 2014, and boosted promotion by hosting Vintage Bridge magazine’s first wedding fair in Sydney.
The symposium included discussion and displays by vendors and experts in the subject, paying tribute to classic interpretations of the vintage wedding as well as more modern expressions such as Rockabilly and Steampunk.
Maria Apostolou of Vellos Bridal proffered that “the perfect fit” was paramount in achieving a great vintage look, while makeup artist Vanessa Louise spoke of the importance of bridal makeup to the finished look, detailing the bride’s essential toolkit and the all-important ‘dab, don’t wipe’ reminder.
The Fair gave prospective brides and grooms to be as well as industry professionals a chance to experience C-Inc’s ever-evolving hotel, which will likely experience something of a renaissance in trade visiting the beachside suburb in light of Merivale’s uber-innovative and family-friendly Coogee Pavilion.
