Diageo and Aussie legend Bundaberg Distillery have launched another devotee marketing promotion with a twist, offering one rum-lovin’ couple facilities and cash to put on their wedding ‘ceRUMony’.
The prize, for the newly married couple and 40 guests, will see the party take place in Bundaberg. Bundy will provide flights, accommodation and transfers for the bride and groom, and up to $10k toward the reception or honeymoon.
But the twist comes in the Bundy fan-base community weighing in and judging crucial elements of the wedding. That’s 390,670 registered wedding planners.
“Bundy fans love a celebration, so there is no better wedding planner than the Bundy community to curate the perfect ceRUMony for the Bundy loving couple,” suggests Bundy marketing manager Duncan Littler.
“We can’t wait to see how the wedding comes together in the hands of the Bundy fans, who will contribute to key decisions through social media polls. A once in a lifetime wedding!”
To be eligible, couples need to share their love story with the distillery, and include how the iconic rum played a role.
The winner of the Bundy Wedding ceRUMony will be announced in March.
