Eatons Hill Hotel is bringing together over 40 breweries for the second annual Brisbane Beer Festival, with entry proceeds going to Daniel Morcombe Foundation.
The Hotel – largely acknowledged as the biggest in the country – will soon celebrate its 4th birthday bash, and the following weekend on 18 April will host a stellar line-up of beer boffins in what it hopes will be the biggest beer party in Queensland.
Patrons be enetertained by DJs and live music as they sip and sample choices of more than 130 beers and ciders from some of Australia and the world’s best beverage-makers – with the gold coin entry cost benefiting the Daniel Morcombe Foundation, which “assist[s] educators and parents in the education of children about their personal safety”.
Venue manager Keith Noyes told PubTIC they hope to make it the biggest beer festival in the State.
“Last year’s event attracted over 3500 people,” said Noyes.
“This year’s event has more breweries and food trucks, with Sam Kekovich as the ambassador; he will be there on the day sampling the beers and chatting with the patrons.”
