BANKTECH’S NEXT-GENERATION CRT APPROVED

Banktech has recently announced its QuickPay XL5, regarded as Australia’s most sophisticated cash redemption terminal (CRT), has now secured formal regulatory approval for rollout in Queensland.

The terminal is authorised to connect with both Max and Odyssey Licensed Monitoring Operators (LMO), marking a major step forward for the state’s gaming industry.

This approval paves the way for venues across Queensland to adopt next-generation CRT technology, offering faster transactions, greater adaptability, and enhanced operational performance.

Engineered specifically to meet the demands of high-performance gaming venues, the QuickPay XL5 is the only CRT in Australia with five cassettes. This allows venues to dispense either five denominations or multiple cassettes of preferred denominations, ensuring faster, smoother payouts along with a seamless patron experience – all of which sets a new cash handling benchmark.

Another key feature is its market-leading capacity of up to 14,000 notes, up to ninety-five per cent more than standard CRTs, minimising downtime by reducing refill frequency.

The QuickPay XL5 has been developed in collaboration with leading gaming industry experts, delivering further benefits such as faster payout deliveries and smoother customer transactions and a reduction in manual handling and downtime.

It is backed by Banktech’s quick-response 365-day field service team and a 24/7 help desk, ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum.

Banktech’s General Manager of Sales, Henry Kiwarkis said the approval was a leap forward for Queensland venues.

“Venues can now access a CRT that delivers greater efficiency, lower maintenance requirements and a noticeably improved experience for both staff and patrons.”
