Officially kickass hospitality group Tilley & Wills Hotels has unfurled Sydney’s “ultimate off-duty playground” at Cabana Bar in Martin Place.
Simon Tilley and Nick Wills, along with the team and venues of T&W Hotels, are still fulgent from their success at the recent 2025 AHA NSW Awards for Excellence where they secured a triple win – highlighted by the honour of Group Hotel Operator of the Year.
Competing against more than 880 nominations across 47 award categories, the group also won Best Regional Dining (Northern) at the Aanuka Beach House in Coffs Harbour.
And said to be instrumental in shaping their reputation for delivering standout guest experiences – from large-scale corporate gatherings to premium social celebrations – Sydney-based Saskia Eichler was awarded Employee Excellence in Service.
Separately, T&W has undertaken a major redevelopment of Cabana Bar in Martin Place, doubling its size to become the largest rooftop venue in the Sydney CBD.
Set amongst the city’s historic downtown architecture, with expansive views of bustling Martin Place and the Sydney skyline, Cabana is touted as the place to “drink cheeky, eat well and holiday often”.
It offers two bars, semi-private dining, indoor lounges and the expansive outdoor terrace, serving a curated selection of pub classics, an extensive wine list and an extensive selection of cocktails and mocktails.
Cabana also incorporates the city’s newest premium functions spaces, Hideaway (capacity 50-pax), The Cape (80-pax), Kokomo Corner (25-pax) and Palm Bar (100-pax), providing stylish spaces for corporate or casual events.
