ORDERIT: LATEST GAMING ENHANCEMENT FROM MAX

Tabcorp and MAX have announced the release of OrderIt, providing venues an improved approach to customer service across their gaming floor.

OrderIt allows players a quick and easy way to order food and beverages – directly from their EGM, via MAX’s Pathway system.

It manages orders digitally, placed through Service Call, which displays the status of the order as it progresses and allows staff to see orders ready for delivery. It integrates with compatible third-party paging systems.

OrderIt is reported to be the only solution in the market to offer multiple items per order, allowing patrons to add up to five items to their cart, plus select from a range of modifiers, from a menu of up to 24 menu items by the venue, with images.

For the venue, it offers the benefits of freeing up floor staff and potential for reduced costs in menus, while allowing them to provide a more comfortable gaming experience for patrons.

The system also allows venues to easily capture patron product preferences and purchase patterns, and as the hospitality industry rebounds from the turmoil of COVID-19, the company suggests differentiation and exceptional customer service will be paramount for venues to remain competitive.

“By creating a seamless, superior in-venue experience and driving staff efficiencies, OrderIt can help venues stand out from the crowd,” suggests MAX.

The new system has been shaped by customer feedback, alongside other enhancements to the provider’s Metropolis platform.

“Extensive field trials were conducted across a number of venues and the results were excellent, with some seeing up to 1,000 transactions per day using the platform,” relays MAX’s head of product, Olivia Maskaric.

OrderIt is exclusive to the Metropolis gaming system, and Phase 1 sees it available across New South Wales. Phase 2 is slated for later this year.

This and other latest releases are on show at the 2022 MAX Australasian Hospitality and Gaming Expo, in Brisbane, taking place Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 March.
