OPTUS SPORT KICKS OFF UEFA EURO 2024 COVERAGE

Optus Sport has begun exclusive broadcast of UEFA EURO 2024, sharing the audience with partner brands, available for showing in venues.

From 15 June, viewers have been watching Europe’s elite teams and players in action, heading toward the prestigious Henri Delaunay Cup, with the final match on Monday, 15 July (AEST).

Hoping to deepen engagement, Optus Sport is offering a holistic commercial platform for brands, ensuring seamless integration across live studio hosting, ancillary programming, and both live and Video On-Demand (VOD) match streaming within its interactive ecosystem.

“We are thrilled to be working with some amazing brands across this tournament,” stated Howard Rees, Head of Optus Sport.

“We understand the passion football fans have for these international tournaments and how deeply they engage with the action. We are delighted that our broadcast partners and sponsors share our enthusiasm and will experience firsthand the powerful community connections football fosters across Australia.”

The company has announced partnerships with Hisense, Hungry Jack’s, TAB, and Ford throughout the coverage.

“We are very excited to continue our longstanding relationship with Optus Sport as their wagering partner for UEFA EURO 2024,” offers Luke Feddema, TAB head of marketing – brand and campaigns.

“This tournament is a momentous occasion on the sporting calendar, and we look forward to giving our customers a premium experience through our integration with Optus.”

Cameron McLeish of the Ford Dealer Network added: “Ford Australia, and its network of 180 dealers, has a proud history of involvement in many sports, and this tournament continues to allow us to connect with communities of supporters across the country”.

This follows the recent reveal of Optus’ star-studded line-up of on-air talent for the series, featuring Socceroos legends John Aloisi and Mark Schwarzer, alongside former England international Jay Bothroyd.

Football fans can catch every match from UEFA EURO 2024 and CONMEBOL Copa América USA 2024 live on Optus Sport and through venues with an Optus Sport licence.
