Sydney-based Mainstar services is offering specialist cleaning in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, providing a regime approved by the Therapeutic Goods Association and peace of mind for operators.
With an eye to the ‘new normal’ Mainstar has adopted use of the Z-71 Microbe Shield, made by Zoono Group Ltd (ASX: ZNO), which has been laboratory tested as 99.99 per cent effective against the coronavirus pathogen.
Information on the virus continues to emerge, but it has been well established that it can remain active on some surfaces for more than a week.
The Zoono product contains a unique antimicrobial molecule that bonds to any surface, creating a protective layer that destroys pathogens including COVID-19, MERS, N9H2, H1N1, norovirus, e-coli, MRSA, and salmonella, as well as moulds, fungi and algae.
Tests have shown the active ingredient provides protection on surfaces for up to 30 days.
Mainstar employs a team of dedicated coronavirus cleaners armed with full PPE and state-of-the-art equipment including foggers, Hazguard suits, double-filter respiratory masks, sealed goggles and gloves.
The company reports having already cleaned and fogged hotels and schools around NSW, particularly Sydney and Armidale. Its staff service most areas of the State.
