Feros Group has officially broken ground on the highly anticipated $50 million Bingara Country Club, laying the foundations of a multi-faceted venue to service a new community.
This month construction has begun on the state-of-the-art venue aiming to become the heart of the burgeoning Bingara Gorge community, for families and sports fans, within Metro Property Development’s residential precinct.
Plotted on a 7,280sqm parcel of land in Wilton, the Country Club will be in the surrounds of Bingara Gorge Golf Course, and offer a premium social and dining experience for 800-1,000 people.
Owned and operated by Chris Feros’ hotel group, the plans were unveiled early last year.
The design by H&E Architects strives to blend with the natural surroundings, for a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere incorporating natural materials, to help it “age gracefully” and meld into the landscape.
The building will be made up of separate ‘pavilion’ structures, to optimise northern exposure, featuring gables, eaves and covered verandas, to embrace both the indoor and outdoor.
Bingara Gorge is a 450-hectare masterplanned site that once complete will comprise around 1,800 homes and a range of modern recreational amenities.
Stage one of the Bingara Country Club will bring a family-friendly bistro and bar, dedicated sports bar, an inviting beer garden and spacious outdoor kids’ play area, and premium function facilities.
Following that, stage two will see further expansion, to include boutique accommodation, and premium conferencing and wedding facilities.

Construction is slated for completion early 2026, and an official grand opening will be announced in coming months.
