DRAFT CRAFTSMEN RELEASE ‘WINDOWED’ FOUNT FOR YOUR VIEWING PLEASURE

Continuing the tradition of Australian draft systems frequently leading the world in quality and presentation, Andale has produced a pioneering fount to entice today’s craft beer drinker.

Featuring a viewing window, the new founts allow patrons to see the beer or wine before it is poured – adding to the experience and potential for discussion. The windows filter incoming light to prevent any spoilage of the product.

Andale has been developing beer dispensing systems since 1947, when founders Henry Anderson and Wally Dale combined their names and began producing beer taps.

Director Stephen Bartsos told PubTIC the latest innovation was a collaboration with Lion Brewing, and made specifically for the Aussie market.

“We’ve seen a couple of similar things overseas, but they didn’t chill the beer property.

“Our system pours beer cold every time, even if the tap hasn’t been pulled for a day.”

The company unveiled the striking new founts at this year’s AGE earlier this month. The founts have undergone considerable testing by Lion, and 26 have just come online in North Sydney Leagues Club.

More new products from this year’s Australasian Gaming Expo can be found in the next edition of PubTIC Magazine – out Wednesday (26 August).
