The large-format Kambah Inn tavern in suburban Canberra is being offered for sale for the first time in nearly 40 years.
The standalone venue is set on 943sqm at the entrance to the Kambah Group Centre, enjoying vehicle or pedestrian frontages on all sides. It provides a ground floor public bar, bistro, gaming room with 10 machines, 12 residential hotel rooms with ensuites, a large bottleshop and plenty of adjacent parking.
It draws on a substantial population in the immediate area, in the south of the capital city.
A buyer could also explore alternate uses or redevelopment, with the site holding commercial zoning and height limit of 16 metres (STCA).
A private family has owned and operated it for the better part of four decades, and has commissioned Knight Frank’s Mike Wheatley to divest the crown leasehold.
The going concern operation of the Kambah Inn is being sold through an Expressions of Interest campaign, closing Thursday, 8 December.
