CAMDEN VALLEY INN’S NEW MENU – FED ON FEEDBACK

The landmark Camden Valley Inn has unveiled a new menu that was completely curated by customer feedback.

The chef and marketing departments sent out a survey to members of the beloved south-western Sydney pub, aiming to understand the changing needs and desires of their patron base.

This prompted a massive 2k responses in the first 24 hours, which has been used to shape the venue’s new winter menu, sporting 21 brand new dishes that are solely the result of customer feedback.

Customers and community said they wanted more share plates, winter warmers, vegetarian options – and more desserts.

An overwhelmingly popular choice was ‘Roast lamb shank with Yorkshire pudding’, which is now on the menu and well-suited to the pub’s country-feel décor. Further newcomers include the Cauliflower Bites and chipotle mayo, Pumpkin Soup and toasted focaccia, the Brie Board, and 12-hour slow-cooked Beef Ragu Pappardelle.

For dessert there is the Sticky Date Pudding with vanilla bean ice cream and butterscotch sauce, Apple Crumble with rhubarb and granola crumble, and Cheesecake Bites served with lemon curd and fresh berries.

Complementing the cuisine is the cocktail menu, notably featuring Martinis available in Salted Caramel, Lychee and Porn Star.

Founded in 1957, Lewis Land Group is one of Australia’s oldest private property developers. Its pubs portfolio counts The Fiddler Hotel, The Belvedere Hotel, The Komo Hotel and the large-format Camden Valley Inn, with its many dining areas – some of which sport cosy fireplaces perfectly suited for winter dining.

This is the first time the Camden Valley Inn has curated a menu completely based on customer feedback, and the community response has reportedly been “overwhelmingly positive”.

“We recognise that our customers’ needs are constantly evolving, which is why we strive to stay ahead of the curve by regularly refreshing and adding to our venue,” says GM Kayla Seeney.

“Our new Winter Menu is a perfect example of this – we listened to our customers and curated new dishes that they have requested and I’m sure others will also love.

“We pride ourselves on providing an unforgettable experience to all our guests, and we will continue to do so by putting our customers first.”
