AVC’S COOMERA LODGE ENTERS ACCOMMODATION MARKET

Coomera Lodge Hotel is entering an exciting new chapter, with the popular northern Gold Coast pub set to open on-site accommodation for the first time from 10 August, when 24 self-contained cabins welcome guests.

This follows and expands on the pub’s $3m makeover in 2022.

Owned by Australian Venue Co (AVC), the venue has long been a destination for dining, drinks and live entertainment.

The addition of accommodation marks a significant expansion of the hotel’s offering, responding to growing demand for affordable places to stay in the northern Gold Coast.

Located in Oxenford, just off the M1, the new cabins are expected to appeal to a broad mix of visitors, including families heading to nearby theme parks, people visiting friends and relatives, and business travellers seeking convenient accommodation close to the motorway.

The accommodation comprises 24 newly built cabins across two layouts, sleeping either four (‘Family Cabins’) or six (‘Accessible Cabins’), and start from $200 per night. Designed with warm timber finishes and a coastal-inspired aesthetic, each includes a private ensuite, air conditioning, television and complimentary Wi-Fi.

The cabins are located alongside the existing hotel, allowing guests to access the venue’s food, beverage and entertainment offering throughout their stay. In addition to dining in the bistro, guests can order from the full pub menu via room service.

The expansion also positions Coomera Lodge Hotel as a convenient base for visitors exploring the northern Gold Coast.

Warner Bros Movie World and Wet’n’Wild are around 10 minutes away by car, while the area’s beaches are approximately 25 minutes from the venue. Guests are also within easy reach of the Coomera River and surrounding parklands.

The accommodation launch represents the latest investment by AVC in broadening the role of traditional pubs beyond food and beverage, with venues increasingly incorporating accommodation and destination-style experiences into their offerings.
