A multi-million-dollar transformation in Sydney’s northwest is set to become the go-to hospitality destination when Rooty Hill’s Carousel Inn is relaunched as The Woodstock later this year.

The twenty-fifth venue to be purchased by the Solotel Group, it was acquired in 2021 for around $64 million. At the time Solotel advised it would consult the community before planning the venue’s direction.
It is now being completely rebuilt.
Currently under construction, the venue will boast multiple TV screens in its new sports bar, with both high-top seating and a more relaxed lounge area with a fireplace.
Outdoors the venue will boast a lush Garden Bar, offering cocktails, classic drinks and house-made slushies.
Families have been well catered to with a dedicated play space offering a climbing wall, swings, and ping pong.

The build all comes together around the bistro, which will offer pub classics inspired by the Mediterranean, including wood-fired pizzas and share dishes, all offering flavour, value for money, and generosity in a family-friendly, welcoming environment.
Capping it all off, the one-stop food and beverage entertainment destination will also offer a flexible purpose-built functions and event space with state-of-the-art audiovisual capabilities for up to 250 people.
This new addition will effortlessly host everything from family gatherings to corporate functions.

Solotel CEO Elliot Solomon said the project was one of the Group’s biggest investments to date.
“We’re building out an exciting calendar of events, forging partnerships with local sporting clubs and community groups that will enrich the local area and give everyone a new community home.
“We’re here for the long haul and it’s all hands-on deck for the next few months until we open. We can’t wait to show The Woodstock to everyone.”
September’s launch of The Woodstock will be celebrated with a full week of events.
