Global not-for-profit nerds Pint of Science are again reaching audiences across Australian pubs and bars, for three nights of beers and ideas.
Now in its eleventh year, Pint of Science offers accessible science talks covering a range of subjects, hosted across 400 cities worldwide.
The fascinating grab-bag of festival events will be hosted in Australian pubs and bars from Adelaide to Townsville, with a raft of different speakers and topics at each location.
Adelaide’s Wheatsheaf Hotel is one host facilitating science experts in bringing their knowledge to the pub.

This year the festival lineup at the Wheatsheaf includes topics ranging from the Australian contemporary music scene, facilitated by PhD candidate Slade Richardson, to pain perception, by University of Adelaide Professor Rainer Haberbergr, to the risk of radiation, featuring University of Adelaide Associate Professor Tony Hooker.
Flinders University Clinical Psychologist Lecturer Dr Ian Zajac will speak on how to spot when a friend is doing it tough, while Principal Scientist at the CSIRO Dr Declan Page will discuss water security.
Designed as a pub chat with a little more meaning, the event will run from 6:30pm to 9pm, 19-21 May.

The Wheatsheaf Hotel will host three talks each night of the festival. Full details can be found on the Wheatsheaf Hotel website.
