NEW TECHNOLOGY EMPOWERS VENUES TO ‘VIRTUALLY’ CASH IN

A revolutionary new software tool could help pubs and other venues improve their booking revenue by allowing people to explore the site from anywhere.

Last week HeadBox, a digital meetings and events platform released its latest product, ‘HeadBox 3D Studio’.

It says the software allows venues to quickly create “personalised digital proposals using 3D tours” and include embedded AI-generated narration.

By using this tool, pubs can now create a guided walk through of their venue, in 3D. The guided walkthrough can then be embedded onto a website or shared with a customer.

When created for a particular client, the model enables the client to clearly see the space, while the narration can provide information such as facilities and capacities or assist the client in imagining what their event could look like.

Headbox says giving clients a tailored experience will streamline the booking process and boost client confidence, even if they cannot visit the venue in person.

CEO Ali Lord said the new tool helps the process move more quickly and efficiently and will increase sales conversion.

“At the heart of HeadBox is our belief that innovation, through technology and software, is vital to solving some of the biggest problems faced by our host venues and hotel customers,” she said.

“Having the ability to send out personalised narrated tours that are engaging and tell the full event story will become the ‘new proposal’.”

The software can also narrate the 3D tours in one of 29 languages, promising to revolutionise events from planning to execution.
