HOW TO MAKE A STRAWBERRY NEGRONI

Award-winning Richmond distillery Brogan’s Way has succumbed to pressure and made its limited edition Strawberries & Cream varietal a regular fixture in the range.

The boutique distiller first released the Strawberries and Cream gin flavour in May 2022, as a limited seasonal product. Swiftly embraced by gin lovers, a second batch was released in January.

Demand was still high as stocks of the second batch ran low, leading head distiller Brogan Carr to make it available at all times, beginning 1 June – in time for World Gin Day, on 10 June.

“While we always knew we had created a fantastic product when we first released Brogan’s Way Strawberries and Cream, we have still been surprised at just how popular it has become in little over a year,” says Carr.

“Because of this, it really made sense for us to give Strawberries & Cream a permanent place in our core range. Now we can celebrate the classic pairing of strawberries and cream all year long.”

Strawberry Negroni

News of the release brings a new-look and new-size; the limited edition 500mL capacity replaced by a 700mL bottle with a new-look strawberry-inspired label and familiar Brogan’s Way gold foil branding.

Pubs in Melbourne already stocking Brogan’s Way products include the Royal Saxon, Coopers Inn, and The Amora, The Motley and Flinders hotels.

Strawberries & Cream is described as fresh, bright and full of delectable strawberry flavour, with notes of juniper. The combination of spicy and floral flavours is complemented by the strawberry sweetness and rich texture of distilled cream.

Strawberry Negroni

A take on the classic negroni, a Strawberry Negroni is “light, refined, and easy to drink – with hints of fruit”.
