Australian Leisure & Hospitality Group (ALH) is not only looking to improve the pubgoer experience this year but will once again be meaningfully supporting the wider community.
To improve the patron experience, ALH has created a strategic partnership with digital platform FANZO, a move that combines the convenience of digital footy tipping with the best of in-person socialising at the pub.

Together they are launching an AFL and NRL footy tipping competition through the pub+ app.
The aim is to have footy lovers setting tips and tracking results on their phones, while redeeming prizes and watching live games with like-minded fans at their local.
The competition is free to enter, with a major prize of $50,000 for AFL and NRL tipping respectively.
Competitions will be run across three formats: a national league, with access to the major prizes as well as weekly rewards; venue leagues, with local rewards; and the newly introduced private leagues, which allow friends to compete directly.
ALH’s General Manager – Marketing & Loyalty, Phil Oneile, said this partnership is set to be a new, easy and fun way to engage with digital sports tipping.
“Whether you’re chasing the $50k grand prize or just want bragging rights over your mates in a private league, this is the ultimate way to experience the footy season,” he said.
FANZO ANZ Managing Director Jonathan Richards acknowledged that footy tipping is part of Australian culture.
“Tipping at the local sparks debate, builds community and has brought fans together for generations,” he said.
“What’s changed is how fans want to engage. Today, they expect seamless, high-quality digital experiences that add to the excitement of game day.
“That’s why we’re proud to partner with ALH to bring a best-in-class tipping experience to their guests right across the country.”
Hahn Super Dry is the program sponsor, which will supply weekly prizes in most states.

For the fourth consecutive year, ALH has also moved to support Rural Aid, an independent charity that has been creating innovative programs to increase sustainability and resilience of farmers and their communities over the past decade.
For all of February 2026 ALH will be donating $1 from every parmi (or ‘parma’ if in Victoria) sold in support of Australian farming families.
This year, ALH has upped the incentives further by offering a major prize for its pub+ members. Once a member scans their loyalty card and buys a parmi (parma), the member will automatically go into a draw to win a $750 luxury farm stay from Into the Wild.
Generous ALH suppliers have already kicked off the fundraising by donating $50,000.
ALH General Manager of Operations, Lukas McKay, said the group wanted to give people an extra reason to go to their local.
“By enjoying a meal at one of our ALH Hotels this February, our customers will be directly contributing to a cause that’s close to all of our hearts.”
ALH encourages everyone to help support farmers recover from the brutal combination of weather events and economic pressures, including through direct donations to Rural Aid.
CEO of Rural Aid John Warlters is grateful for the continued support.
“The funds raised this February aren’t just numbers – they translate into hay and water deliveries, financial assistance, and mental health support for families who are doing it tough,” he said.
“Every dollar donated makes a difference in the lives of those who feed and sustain our nation.”
ALH employs over 15,000 people in more than 350 licensed venues across Australia.
