Beloved watering hole of Thallon, the Nindigully Pub, has put itself on the map as serving up what is likely the biggest burger and challenge in Australia, if not the world.
The infamous ‘Road Train’ burger will set you back a value-packed $80 and threatens to feed up to six people.
The monstrous burger – with sides of wedges and onion rings – weighs a heart-stopping 5.5 kilos and is the size of a wedding cake.
It features a 1.2-kilogram meat patty, six tomatoes, three large beetroots, a whole iceberg lettuce, a whole tin of pineapple slices, and nearly half-a-kilo of cheese and BBQ sauce, on a 1-kilogram bun.
Many have travelled to the town of Thallon, five-hundred kilometres west of Brisbane, to try their hand around the most whoppingest of burgers, but none have reached the summit. Regulars say it usually takes at least four people to get through it.
And rumours abound that the Pub bets no-one will ever complete the mission solo.
“Owner has a challenge that if one person can eat the lot you get a keg of beer,” claimed social media.
