OWNERS TO PART WITH BOUNDARY HOTEL AFTER NEAR CENTURY

After nearly a century in the same hands, a private family is parting with their West End cornerstone, the Boundary Hotel.

Occupying a generous block of nearly 2,000 m² on bustling Boundary Street, the Hotel consists of a public bar, bistro, gaming room and bottleshop on ground level. The second level boasts a covered beer garden and long bar, and rooms ideal for functions.

Built in 1864, it has a long reputation serving the local community, much of that at the hands of the same family, who have owned it since 1922.

Title to the Hotel includes two adjoining residential lots on Jane and Wilson Streets, either side of the pub off Boundary.

It is being marketed by JLL Hotels’ Tom Gleeson, kept busy in the red-hot south-east Queensland market.

“The evolution of West End continues, as it strengthens its reputation as a cultural and entertainment hub of inner Brisbane,” says Gleeson.

“The Boundary Hotel provides a large-format venue with strong underlying fundamentals, in arguably Brisbane’s most tightly held market.”

The Hotel is being sold via Expressions of Interest campaign.
